Justin Bieber fans around the globe are starting to get a little worried today as news outlets are reporting that his “Paparazzi Assault” case will be going to the Los Angeles County District Attorney.

The case is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles police department after the victim filed an assault charge against the singer on Monday.

Bieber is wanted for questioning by the Police and will most likely surrender to them once he returns to the United States after his promotional tour is complete. The promo tour just kicked off in Oslo Norway and is the first phase of Bieber’s new “Believe” album promotion.

As we reported on Monday, Bieber was accused of assaulting a photographer while leaving a mall in Calabasas California with his girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Bieber claims the photographer was blocking their van and after repeated requests would not let him and Selena pass.

That’s when Bieber jumped from the vehicle and charged the man and laid a Mike Tyson style bash to the paparazzi’s head.

Neither Bieber nor the photographer was arrested at the scene but the case is now in the hands of the authorities.

Ironically, just last week Justin was being trained by non-other than the ear biting World Champion boxer Mike Tyson – and they recorded a short video showing Bieber punching the bag - indicating that JB might actually be able to throw a killer punch after all.


But now things are starting to get serious because the case has been handed over to prosecutors whose job it is to see if charges should be brought against the singer.

Misdemeanor assault in California carries a maximum six month jail sentence, a $1,000 fine, and community service.

Bieber’s team has done the smart thing up to this point and not said a word about the incident nor released any press releases. But you got to assume that Scooter Braun is not happy and is in full crisis aversion mode right now.

One West coast lawyer says,

“Usually in a case like this the attacker is arrested until everything can be investigated and sorted out. This case will go in front of a Judge and in order for Bieber to avoid a jury trial he will have to either plead guilty, no contest, or settle the case out of court with the victim. We doubt if any judge would throw the book at Bieber and would probably suspend any jail time in exchange for probation - but Bieber’s camp will want nothing to do with that and will likely try to settle the case as quickly and quietly as possible.”

And that puts the Paparazzo in the driver’s seat by basically allowing him to “name his price” in exchange for dropping the charges or settling.

In fact, in California you don’t even have to actually assault someone – all you have to do is “try” or “attempt” to and you can be charged with misdemeanor assault.

After seeing the photos and reading the news reports, most legal minded people seem to feel that whether you love him or hate him – Bieber was in the wrong and actually did assault the photographer.

Whether you agree with how Justin handled things or not, or who you believe is at fault is not the issue right now.

The issue right now is how the LAW looks at what happened.

And it seems that Bieber was probably at fault regardless of what tens of millions of Bieber's fans think.


One possible break for Bieber could come in the form of eyewitnesses who could testify that the photographer did indeed aggressively block Bieber’s path and would not move aside to allow him to exit the mall parking lot.

California law has statutes aimed at paparazzi that can find them guilty in certain instances if they are overly aggressive or intrusive against a celebrity.

So it may all come down to a “He said, She said” scenario, but the bottom line is this is not over yet – in fact, this mess is just getting started.

And it’s probably not the kind of attention or promotion that Bieber’s camp is wanting at this particular time.

But this is Hollywood….. So maybe it is JUST what they’re looking for.

Justin Bieber has drawn the attention of the Los Angeles Police Department again for problems with one of his cars.

Earlier this week Bieber was tooling around L.A. in his new birthday present, a Fisker Karma hybrid car, when he was given a moving violation ticket by cops.

But it was not for speeding or anything too major – but for code infractions relating to California vehicle laws.

The cops told Justin that his window tint was too dark and the purple light kit he installed under the vehicle was not legal.

Seems the only lights you can have on the front of a car are the headlights and fog lamps.

As soon as Bieber got his new ride he had it repainted using a shiny chrome reflective paint so the thing stands out for blocks and is not easy to miss.



Bieber also installed a purple “Light Kit” under the car body and under the front bumper. You know - if you’re Justin Bieber you got to have purple on your car somewhere!

Cops say they gave the Biebs a citation requiring him to fix all the violations.

Boy, it’s hard to be the richest 18-year-old in the world these days - he just can’t catch a break!

What do you do when you’re only 17-years-old but have more money than some small countries?

You have famous Hollywood Jeweler to the stars, Ben Baller, trick out a new black Cadillac for you to make it look like the Batmobile!

Baller, who owns Internally Flawless & Co. in Los Angeles has been overseeing Bieber’s custom ride, and has already outfitted the singer with swag jewelry, a Rolex watch, and a gold mouth grill.

The JB Batmobile is a 2011 CTS-V with suicide doors, custom JB logo side panels, Batman symbols on the front and back, flat black paint, and the word “Batmobile” engraved on the rear end.

And earlier this week Bieber and his motorcade of friends including Sean Kingston, Ben Baller, and hometown best bud Ryan Butler, were pulled over while driving the Batmobile around downtown Los Angeles.

The cops claim that Bieber cut them off at an intersection so they pulled the entire motorcade over.

Bieber and his crew were eventually let off with just a warning.

Reports say that Bieber and company were on their way to the Hockey game Tuesday night when it all went down.

No harm, no foul. Everybody was cautioned about L.A. driving protocol (don’t cut off cops) and sent on their way.

But this is not the first time Justin Bieber and Sean Kingston have been pulled over by the police.

Just a few months ago they were pulled over in Miami in Kingston’s Rolls Royce Deluxe when the two pranksters went coning and tried to return a Wendy’s frosty to a Burger King as a joke.

That wild weekend in Miami was the same weekend Bieber was photographed shirtless on his hotel balcony in nothing but his underwear.

Ah, to be young and famous with a hundred million dollars – and a Batmobile.

In the end it may not be a woman who gets JB into trouble – it may be his cars!

Justin Bieber sure did have a wild time in Miami this weekend.

First, he was chased by fans while trying to leave through the back door of his girlfriend Selena’s concert in Boca Raton Florida.

Word got out that the Biebs had been backstage and was leaving when a group of young fans tried to chase him down.

Security had to escort him through a maze of bushes and shrubs as he ran to an awaiting car that whisked him away.

Then, Bieber and best friend Sean Kingston were pulled over by cops in South Beach while driving a $400,000 Rolls-Royce convertible after an evening of coning and pranking.

At one point, Bieber almost hit a wall while trying to drive while holding TWO upside-down ice cream cones in his hands.

Fortunately for us they recorded the whole thing on a flip-cam!

He wrapped up his wild weekend Sunday morning by walking out onto his hotel balcony in his boxer shorts unaware there was a paparazzi photographer across the street snapping photos of the shirtless teen idol.

Bieber walked around half naked while sporting his favorite pair of sagging grey boxer shorts before returning to his suite to pack up and head to the airport.

This week, Bieber returns to the studio to continue work on his latest album “Believe” due later this year.

While little is known about his new album we do know he has been seen at the studio with Chris Brown and has hired the best song writers and producers to help him nail down his new tracks.

He is also slated to resume his “My World” tour later this year in Brazil and Latin America. No word yet on tour dates or final locations.

He is also supposed to start filming his movie with Mark Wahlberg soon but there is some speculation that the project has been pushed into next year.

Ah to be young and have nothing to do!

Justin Bieber Pulled Over by Cops in Miami - Photo

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber and his friend Sean Kingston ran into a little trouble Friday night in Miami.

As we reported earlier, Bieber and Kingston were out driving Sean’s convertible Rolls Royce Friday while taking video of them playing pranks on various establishments.

First, they purchased a Frosty from a Wendy’s and tried to return it to a Burger King. Then they pulled off a quick “double coning” while almost hitting a wall in their $400,000 ride before running into a bit of trouble with the law.

The official word Friday night was that Bieber called the cops HIMSELF outside a South Beach T.G.I.F. Restaurant after fans spotted them and started to crowd around the teen idol’s car.

But now we are learning that that was not the whole story.

A witness and employee of T.G.I.F. told HollywoodLife,

“An undercover police officer was driving behind Justin and Sean Kingston. He pulled them over in front of the restaurant on Ocean Drive because he thought it was strange that this young kid was driving a brand new convertible Rolls-Royce.

While he was pulled over, people started recognizing that it was Justin Bieber and they started to surround the car. The police officer told the crowd to back away and then instructed Justin to drive off.”

As it turns out, the undercover Police officer was following the Rolls-Royce because he had noticed the pranking and didn’t recognize the driver and felt he looked “extremely young” to be driving such an expensive car.

He pulled them over for a well-being and suspicious vehicle check.

Word is after the cop realized it was Justin Bieber everybody had a good laugh and the cops helped to disperse the crowd that had gathered before sending the singer on his way.

We think if you’re going to go out and play pranks - a better idea would have been to NOT use a $400,000 Rolls as that may be a bit conspicuous.

Bieber was in Miami with his girlfriend Selena Gomez while she was performing a show as part of her “We Own the Night” concert tour.

This was the first time Sean Kingston had been seen in public since his tragic Jet-Ski accident a few months back that left him in intensive care for weeks.

But this latest run in with the cops seems to be playing into the hands of critics who say Justin has changed and is no longer that little clean-cut teen idol that used to laugh and smile all the time.

Observers say his sudden fame and tremendous financial success has started to affect his personality.

Just last week there were photos released of Justin and his dad Jeremy getting matching Hebrew Jesus tattoos under their left arm.

The two also inked matching five pointed star tattoos on their left elbow a few months back as well.

Not that there is anything wrong with that, it’s just that his fans were not expecting him to get inked up and start getting pulled over by cops and flipping off the paparazzi at such a young age.

We think it’s just a case of a young man growing into his teen years doing what every teen in America does at that age.

Coning is harmless – and it could be worse. He could be doing crack with Lindsay Lohan or smoking weed with Snoop Dog.

We say let him be, and hope he has the right people surrounding him while at the same time giving him enough space to be a kid.
