Justin Bieber and One Direction to Collaborate on “Believe” Album!

Justin Bieber and One Direction to collaborate
It looks like Justin Bieber is pulling out all the stops for his upcoming new album “Believe”.

It has already been announced that teen pop star Cody Simpson will appear on one of Bieber’s new tracks, and now there is growing evidence that “One Direction” will also collaborate on a song.

Bieber was in the studio working on his “Believe” album Wednesday night when the boys from One Direction showed up and stayed for quite a long time.

Several hours later the boys took to twitter.

Niall Horan started off the exchange by tweeting:

"In the studio with our boy @justinbieber last night, it's gona sound great!"

Liam Payne confirmed the studio session by tweeiting:

"Got a first listen to Justin Bieber's new album yesterday wowww big songs!!! It's gunna be a smash”.

One Direction has been taking the world by storm and are quickly starting to cannibalize Bieber’s fan base say insiders.

“It makes since for Justin to do a duet with One Direction. There is enough great music out there and enough fans. Today’s electronic editing allows musicians to share tracks over an iPhone and then meet in a studio for a final take that is mixed down later for the final release. In the music business everybody tries to help everybody else out and the benefits go both ways for Bieber and One Direction. They share very similar fan bases and age groups. It makes perfect sense.”

Just as Justin had some amazing collaborations on his Christmas album we should expect this with “Believe”.

In fact, Bieber’s mentor Usher Raymond was also seen in the studio with the Bieb’s this week prompting JB to later tweet:

"Me and @usherraymondiv gotta have a duet on every album."

We also know Will.I.am from the “Black Eyed Peas” will be appearing on the “Believe” album and also co-produced one of the albums tracks specifically for Justin.

Other names and collaborations to look for on the upcoming album are Timbaland, Drake, Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Ke$ha and Kanye West.

With the exception of Kanye we’re down to hear all the new music!

Bieber’s latest single “Boyfriend” has already sold more than 600,000 downloads on iTunes and is currently number two on the Billboard Top 200 charts – a first for the singer.

He is also working on a script for an upcoming movie with Mark Wahlberg and just appeared on Ashton Kutcher's revamped “Punk’d” television show on MTV heading off the season punking Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and Sean Kingston.

Not bad for a kid who just turned 18-years-old.

We suspect that between the music, movies, TV shows, endorsements, merchandize, music producing, and real estate investments that the kids probably going to do all right.

VIDEO - Justin Bieber and Stevie Wonder Unite for “Someday At Christmas” Duet – Classic!

Stevie Wonder and Justin Bieber sing Some Day at Christmas

Sometimes in life things come around full circle.

I remember right when Justin Bieber started to become famous, I watched the YouTube video of him singing Stevie Wonder’s “Someday at Christmas” when he was only 12-years-old.

Bieber’s voice was as pure as it could get - standing alone on that stage in Stratford Ontario - not even aware that in a very short time his life was going to be changed forever.

In fact, I still occasionally watch that video to remind myself how pure and innocent his voice was. See if you agree…

Doesn’t that just give you goose bumps? I mean really…

Then, a few years later, Bieber graced the stage at the White House and had the amazing opportunity to sing the very same song in front of President and Mrs. Obama and their two daughters.

It was good, but you could tell his nerves may have got the best of him – but it was still good. See if you agree…

Not bad right?

But last night Justin had the rarest opportunity of all – to sing “Someday at Christmas” with the man himself… Stevie Wonder!

Justin joined Stevie on stage at the "Stevie’s House Full of Toys" benefit concert at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and they both did what they do so well.

Not bad eh?

Well… actually, we thought it was a bit weak and seemed as if it had been thrown together at the last minute and only rehearsed once.

Justin started late, sang flat in some places and was terribly sharp at the end. It seemed like neither one of them knew what the other was going to do.

I guess you really can’t out master the master after all.

In the end I still go back to that little 12 year old kid, alone on the stage in Stratford, singing his heart out in a talent contest without the bright glare of the World staring at him.

Sometimes it’s the simple things that are the sweetest.

Know what I mean?

Justin Bieber gave his fans in Brazil a rare treat last night at his My World concert in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

His girlfriend Selena Gomez took the stage to sing a duet of “Who Says” with Justin, and the Biebs sang “Mistletoe” from his new Christmas album for the first time live!

Bieber had tweeted the night before that his Brazilian fans were some of the loudest fans he had ever heard at a concert, and based on the following video of the duet he was telling the truth.

Bieber hinted at a big surprise on twitter by saying,

“Round Two for RIO is TOMORROW!! I got a HUGE SURPRISE TOMORROW at the show here in RIO....a Special Guest. WHO IS COMING??”

When we can find a better video we will make it available and send out a tweet so make sure to follow us on twitter - @InfoStar

Gomez traveled to Rio earlier this week to meet up with the Biebs and spent a little quality time by renting the presidential suite at one of Rio’s swankiest hotels.

After the show Bieber took to twitter to say,

“RIO!!! CRAZY!! thanks to @selenagomez for helping me do something special for the crowd. a duet never hurt nobody. WHO SAYS”

Wednesday night Bieber wowed the crowd with his first ever live performance of his new song “Mistletoe” from his Christmas Album.

The only glitch on Justin’s tour so far has been the death threats against him if he travels into Peru and proceeds with his show.

Most have discounted the rumors as those of an angry and jealous fan but we hear extra security will be in place while performing in Peru.

His My World tour will wrap up later this month and Justin will return to the United States just in time for the release of his Christmas Album “Under the Mistletoe”.

No word on how long Selena will be traveling with Bieber but we do know she was delayed entry into Brazil for several hours because she did not have all her paper work in order.

Ah the life of a young rock star!

Video - Amy Winehouse Duet with Tony Bennett Released on Her 28th Birthday

On what would have been her 28th birthday, a duet between Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett was released to commemorate her death.

For anybody who ever doubted that Winehouse was a genuine singer and songwriter, this song will prove that Amy was the real deal.

The song called "Body and Soul” was recorded in March 2011, just four months before she died, with Bennett at Abby Road Studios in Liverpool – the same studio the Beatles used.

All proceeds from the sale of the track will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The charity has one simple goal:

“The Amy Winehouse Foundation was set up in Amy’s memory to support charitable activities in both the UK and abroad that provide help, support or care for young people, especially those who are in need by reason of ill health, disability, financial disadvantage or addiction.”

To make a donation to the foundation you can visit her website at AmyWinehouseFoundation.

Amy’s father Mitch told CNN that his memories of her obviously will never fade,

“She's my daughter. But the love that she had for her family and her friends...and her generosity, that's what I'll remember most."

Bennett has also commented on Amy’s singing and career saying,

"We had a beautiful time recording together in the studio, and I knew that Amy was very happy with how she performed that day. I thought she was absolutely brilliant, and this recording truly captures the essence of her unique artistry. She was a rare talent."

The duet is being sold as a single on iTunes and will also be featured on Bennett’s new album "Duets II" due in stores September 20th in celebration of his 85th birthday.

Video – Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber Surprise Fans with Live “Baby” Duet During Concert!

Last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Taylor Swift fans got the surprise of a lifetime.

Justin Bieber joined Swift on stage for an impromptu duet of his hit song “Baby”.

Taylor started covering Justin’s song “Baby” a few months ago during her concerts and even drew the attention of Bieber last month when he tweeted,

"I heard you sang BABY at your concert in Toronto. Thank u for the love ... I might have to come by and stop in on a show."

And last night he made good on that promise by making a surprise appearance on stage during the show.

Taylor Swift is currently on the road as part of her “Speak Now” concert tour and was performing Tuesday night in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.

After two more shows in L.A. she’s off to San Jose, Sacramento, Portland Oregon, Tacoma Washington, and Vancouver. The first leg of her tour ends November 22nd in New York City.

Swift will then take a few months off before heading out in March for the international portion of her tour by visiting cities in Australia including Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

Justin Bieber is busy in the studio putting the finishing touches on his new album titled “Believe” which is expected out sometime this Fall.

He also continues to drop in on his girlfriend Selena Gomez’s shows while she is on the road touring with her band “Selena Gomez and the Scene”.

In late September, Bieber will return to the road with the South American leg of his “My World” concert tour kicking things off in Mexico on September 30th.

Swift admits to being a “Belieber” and has met Justin several times and even performed with him a couple of years ago.

It was not the best first encounter as Bieber broke his foot while onstage performing with Swift.

“I actually broke my foot on stage performing with Taylor Swift. I was opening up for her, which was a lot of fun — although it definitely wasn’t fun when I broke my foot. I was running and there was a little dip in the stage, and I rolled my ankle and broke it. I finished the song but it was still a great night.”
